Fly light, deliver properly.
The kit had to be compact enough to travel interstate, yet capable enough to deliver corporate-grade audio, lighting, event coverage and interview visuals.
KMS Lighthouse needed more than event coverage. They needed photography, fast social content and polished customer testimonial interviews from a half-day enterprise technology event at Microsoft’s Freshwater Place offices in Melbourne.
The result was a compact, high-trust production that turned one event into social assets, customer proof and content the team could keep using after the room was packed down.
The brief called for three different content streams from the same event, without a large crew or a bulky production footprint.
The event brought together enterprise stakeholders, customer voices and platform experts. Capturing that value meant being technically ready, socially confident and calm enough to approach the right people at the right moment.
The kit had to be compact enough to travel interstate, yet capable enough to deliver corporate-grade audio, lighting, event coverage and interview visuals.
Attendees had to be approached between formal sessions and guided into short on-camera interviews without making the process feel heavy or intimidating.
The interview room left very little space for a traditional setup, so the camera, lens, lighting and audio approach had to adapt quickly.
The shoot combined professional production thinking with fast content capture, allowing the day to produce polished assets and immediate social material.
The production was built around a travel-friendly Sony A7IV setup with professional lighting and a compact audio solution, keeping the footprint small without lowering the standard.
A balanced shotgun microphone on a compact boom made it possible to bring attendees into the room and start filming quickly, without the friction of fitting lapel mics.
Long-lens event photography and video captured speakers, guests and interactions without interrupting the flow of the presentations or distracting attendees.
The stills were not just documentation. They became part of the content library, giving the client useful assets for social media, internal updates and future event communications.
The shoot delivered event photography, fast social video and polished customer testimonial interviews from one compact interstate production setup.
All assets were delivered digitally via the cloud, giving the KMS Lighthouse team swift access to review, share and put the content to work across sales, social and stakeholder communications.
